Corporate video: what do you need, and what does it cost?

A corporate video can be ten seconds for social media or a two-minute film for the home page. Start with where it will be used, and the rest follows.

Short answer

A corporate video costs from NOK 7,900 for one short video, NOK 12,900 for a pack of three short videos and from NOK 24,900 for a 60–120 second company film. Prices exclude VAT and include planning, shoot and post-production.

Which type of corporate video do you need?

Corporate video is an umbrella term. A promo video for Instagram and a company film for the home page are two different jobs, with different length, format and price.

The simplest approach is to start at the other end. Where will the video be shown, and what should the viewer do afterwards? The answer decides most of it.

  • Short social video: 10–40 seconds in vertical format, made to stop the scroll.
  • Company or brand film: 60–120 seconds about who you are and what you do, for the website and presentations.
  • Commercial or campaign film: made for paid advertising, often in several lengths and formats.
  • Product video: shows one product or service in use.
  • Customer story: a customer does the talking, so you do not have to praise yourselves.
  • Recruitment film: shows the workplace to people considering applying.

What does a corporate video cost?

These are our 2026 prices, excluding VAT. They cover planning, shoot, edit, colour grading and sound. Travel and any third-party costs, such as location hire or actors, are additional.

If you need content regularly, a monthly agreement is usually cheaper than one-off jobs. They start at NOK 9,900 a month for a small shoot with 10–15 photos and two short videos.

  • Short video, from NOK 7,900: a small shoot and one finished reel or short video.
  • Social video pack, NOK 12,900: one shoot and three edited short videos.
  • Company or brand film, from NOK 24,900: 60–120 seconds.
  • Campaign film, from NOK 39,900.
  • Drone as an add-on to a shoot: NOK 2,500.
  • Larger productions are priced on request.

What affects the price?

Time is the biggest cost, both on the shoot and in the edit. One shoot day in one location is affordable. Two days across three locations is something else, partly because the amount of footage to review grows with it.

The number of finished films counts too. One film in one format is one deliverable. The same film in landscape, square and vertical, at 15, 30 and 60 seconds, is nine. It is often worth the money, but it has to be in the quote.

  • The number of shoot days and locations
  • The number of finished films, lengths and formats
  • Interviews, script and voice-over
  • Drone, FPV and specialist equipment
  • Graphics, animation and subtitles
  • Licensed music
  • How many revision rounds are included

How to prepare for a video shoot

Good preparation is what separates a shoot day that yields one film from one that yields content for six months. Most of it comes down to having decided before the camera arrives.

We build a shoot plan together with you, but you are the one who knows the business. The clearer you are about what should be shown and who should take part, the more you get back.

  • Decide on one message. One film, one thing it should say.
  • Choose who will take part, and tell them well in advance.
  • Tidy the premises, and think about what shows in the background.
  • Get consent from staff and customers who will be filmed.
  • Have your logo, colours and any copy ready.
  • Appoint one person who can answer questions and make decisions on the day.

Get more out of the same shoot

The most expensive part of a video production is getting people, equipment and location together at the same time. Once that is done, filming more costs little extra. Plan for more deliverables than the main film.

One company film can yield five to ten short clips for social media, stills for the website and a loop for the home page. If we take photographs the same day, you also get portraits and environment shots that match the film.

Say so before the shoot, not after. Vertical format has to be composed on location, and there is a difference between a clip that was planned and one cropped out of something else.

What to ask the supplier

Look at work the supplier has done for businesses like yours, not only the most striking piece in the portfolio. Ask who actually turns up on the shoot, and who edits.

We are a studio in Tønsberg where planning, shoot, edit and grading happen in the same place. We travel where the project requires, in Vestfold and across Norway.

  • What is included in the price, and what is extra?
  • How many revision rounds do we get?
  • Which formats and lengths are delivered?
  • Where and for how long can we use the film, including in paid advertising?
  • Is the music licensed for commercial use?
  • When do we get the first cut?

Key takeaways

  • Decide where the video will be used before you decide length and format.
  • Short video from NOK 7,900, company film from NOK 24,900, campaign film from NOK 39,900, excluding VAT.
  • Shoot days, the number of finished films and the number of locations drive the price most.
  • Plan several cuts from the same shoot. It is the cheapest way to get more content.
  • Agree usage rights, formats and revision rounds before the shoot.
