A new website for Nicolay Karlgård
Nicolay Karlgård hires out himself and his machines – a tractor, a compact loader and a 20-tonne excavator – to industry, road works and farming from Vuku in Verdal. We built a fast website from scratch with one goal: that anyone who needs a man and a machine picks up the phone.
Starting point
One man, three machines and no website.
Nicolay takes jobs as a labourer and machine operator in industry, road works and farming. He holds every machine operator certificate and owns a tractor, a compact loader and an excavator.
Work came by word of mouth. He needed a website that made him easy to find for contractors, farmers and businesses in Trøndelag – and that got them to call.
The solution
Straight to the point, with the phone number always in view.
The site is built from scratch without templates, with a dark, rugged look, condensed headings and footage of the excavator at work. It speaks in Nicolay's own voice, in the first person.
Sectors, machines, a simple three-step process and common questions answer what customers want to know. The call button is always in view, and a contact form sends enquiries straight to Nicolay's email on his own domain.
The business is marked up with structured data, and an llms.txt file gives AI assistants a clean summary, so Google and AI search both understand what Nicolay offers and where he is based.
The result
From search to phone call in seconds.
Nicolay now has a website that shows what he does, which machines he runs and where he works, and makes it easy to call or send an enquiry.
