A new website for Djurhuus
Djurhuus produces building drawings, building applications and construction advice for homeowners and smaller building projects across Norway. We built a fast website from scratch with a look taken from technical drawings, fixed prices and a clear path from idea to enquiry.
Starting point
Building applications are unfamiliar ground for most people who want to build.
Djurhuus helps homeowners and smaller builders with extensions, garages, change of use, dispensations and completion certificates — from drawings and surveying to a finished application sent to the municipality.
Customers usually arrive with an idea, a few photos and open questions: do I need to apply, what will it cost and how long will it take? The website had to answer this clearly and make it easy to get in touch.
The solution
A website that looks like a well-drawn set of drawings.
The site is built from scratch without templates, with a technical look taken from architectural drawings: hairlines, dimensions, a title block and a facade where the planned work is marked in red.
The three services, fixed prices including VAT, a seven-step process and common questions sit right where customers need them. The contact form accepts sketches, photos and property details directly.
The business is marked up with structured data, and an llms.txt file gives AI assistants a clean summary, so Google and AI search both understand what Djurhuus does.
The result
From idea to enquiry, without detours.
Djurhuus now has a website that explains its services, prices and process in one place, and makes it easy for customers anywhere in the country to ask for a free quote.
